My name is Frank Hawkes, and woodworking has been my lifelong passion. After retiring from the business world, I dedicated myself full-time to custom woodworking, transforming raw wood into meaningful works of art. I find deep purpose in crafting handmade woodwork crosses that inspire faith and connect people to something greater. Each creation is made with patience, skill, and reverence, a reflection of my commitment to excellence in every detail.

At Hawkes Woodworking, each design begins with your vision. Whether you're seeking a large sanctuary centerpiece or a small decorative cross, every piece is created with precision and heart. My custom woodworking process emphasizes hand-cutting, shaping, and finishing to bring out the natural character of the wood. The cross shown below is made from red oak and is one of many beautiful materials available. Every project is handled with the same dedication to craftsmanship and faith-driven purpose.
